Why it is essential that you create a wicked wardrobe that you will actually wear

Today’s talking and teaching point is this: Creating a wicked wardrobe that you will actually wear, but what does that mean at the individual level, to learn about that will move your mental health from overwhelm to overcome. The kind of wardrobe each of us wants, and how we each achieve this will look different, but today I am going to talk about the things that I do, in steps, that help me to flow and not feel so overwhelmed with life.

Now, before we dive into dressing you, I am going to make this clear that there are a few things to learn because when you do not know, you are not able to flow through the day with ease.

Let us start with your underwear.

By working with the fact that there are 7 days in the week, only you will know what type and style of underwear will help you maintain good mental health. By learning what is out there (for purchase), and then narrowing your options down to look (you are after) and then price, (sometimes, by buying in bulk) you save money. So let’s go back to the 7 day fact, and double this, (for when you are away from home. You will feel less overwhelmed knowing that you have clean clothes waiting for you at home, should you wish to change.

Bra’s, singlets, and camisoles

I am going to stay with the fact that there are seven days in the week, but help you to be able to understand that once you have worn your clothes for a few hours (let’s say 4), you will want to put these clothes out to be washed. This is so you continue to feel good so that you can continue to flow through your day. Your bras, singlets, and camisoles are the important ones, as they are the closest to your body, and will therefore develop an odor.

And the last thing, the fit, so that you feel fantastic, as often as possible.

If there is one thing that I have learned from my fashion disasters, is that you have to desire to do in your clothes. From lounging at home to going on holiday. So that you can work on the next thing. Having fun with your life.

Why eating breakfast is good for your mind (mental health) body (helps you to move with ease when you need to) and your soul to see you through.

Today’s talking and teaching, on what matters, is this: Why eating breakfast is good for you. Do you have breakfast, each morning?

1 – Eat breakfast, as it is good for your mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health and wellbeing.

2 – Explore as you eat, as going through this learning about yourself, will help you to realize what food you are willing to buy and eat, which will help to see you through.

Eat breakfast, as it is good for your mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health and wellbeing.

Picture this, you have woken up, and you know that the day’s conditions are perfect for doing a load of laundry that you just have to sort and then spin in the washing machine. Not related … but hear me out, I am getting there. Are you still with me? Good! So, once you have sorted out the laundry, it is time to load your body up with breakfast. Such as what you see in the photo above: fruit, along with some toast and a cuppa of something, (such as tea or coffee). Now, to maintain good health and well-being, make it your goal, as I do mine, to eat breakfast as your laundry is being washed. This is what will help you with my teaching point number one.

Fun Friday – How flattery will make you feel good – when you already feel good, and when you wear your hair out and you wear your wardrobe

Question for you: In your wardrobe, do you have nice clothes and nice clothes? And your hair, is it styled in a way that you like? Anxiety and depression right there my friend. If you do not feel good that is?

Let me explain: During my adult life, of being a woman who is a self-confessed slave to fashion – I know, I know, I have had to learn to have a wardrobe full of fashion for different occasions. Now the idea behind this for me, and until now, this idea has only really worked in theory. I still mess up LOL!

Why you may ask? Because I had to grow into my body and fashion and learn to like myself and the skin that I was in. And I can assure you, that this is not an easy concept to grasp. Especially when you want to feel and look good at the same time. This includes a hairstyle to be proud of.

And because I am now getting older and I really do not wish to always be a slave to fashion, or have issues with my hair. I have had to teach myself to like myself (there’s my anxiety) and also learn to make a fashion statement, by mixing, matching, and playing with what is in my wardrobe – ie: seeing if I like what I have on and going from there.

So, by making sure that you have an outfit that you will like on, your mind ( which is your mental health and learning), body (your feelings), and soul (how you feel overall about you), will begin to organize itself and because you already feel good, if someone pays attention to you and what you are wearing and says something nice to you, the flattery will get you everywhere. Meaning you may be buzzing for a while after. This is a good thing.

You have already engaged with yourself (managing your matters and your mental health – lower levels of anxiety) and you made sure that you managed your matters- and the flattery has given you an added boost helping you to feel more fantastic than you did before!

Therapeutic things to do on a Thursday, in the morning when you are at home

As I write this story, it is still wintertime where I live, and that is New
Zealand. And the reason why I mention wintertime and condensation is because there is not one house that I have been during winter, or lived in, during winter, that does not suffer from condensation, on the windows. Another problem that I have come across during the winter months, is my knowing and ability to get laundry done. And then, once I have, it is about timing my going out right, and with purpose.

So, the reason why I mention therapy at the beginning, and then the things that bother me, during certain times of the year, is because all of these things can be turned into actionable steps that are therapy that also moves you, while you are at home, and when you have time to spare, let us say a good hour. Yes, a good hour of doing things that can be turned into therapy.

I will start with the condensation thing. Before I took action on this one, I wanted to watch how someone else did this. It was painful. Why? Such aggression and no mindful thinking or doing, and when this person finished showing me what they did and how, boy did they leave a mess, of marks that is, on the window!

You want to know that when you stand back and look at the window, you were able to do a good job. This is what I mean by therapy, for your body, and mind. You are doing.

Right, so now you know why this story is about therapy at home, and why when you know something, you are able to do this something, on repeat, and when you have time. This is a must. The next thing on therapy is about sorting out your laundry and sorting through your laundry, and then putting it away. This is what you do to stay ordered: When you know, you are able, and on repeat.

Why taking care of your mental health is important and how you can start

Today’s talking and teaching point is this: Do you like comedy? If so, what kind of comedy – certain kind of standup, or perhaps a sitcom series? Or maybe you are like me, and you have realized how much you appreciate those with a genuine sense of humor and who are straight talking, pulling no punches (but who are not mean, also important, that they are not mean, that is).  What I have learned about myself, is that I have a sense of humor, which up until now, I have not acknowledged. So I have decided to share my poetry with the intention of helping you have a bit of a giggle. Hope you do.

Content that you can consume

Video, radio, or series on tv. Take your pick and take a pue, that is how you allow the content to entertain you. I like a bit of all of the above, just at different times during any given day. They all have something different to offer and consuming content in this way is more than the content, it is about the conversations that happen between real people.

Listening to this content alone can make you laugh, and this is one way of taking care of the way you feel (your mental health). When you are watching a tv series, go for actors who you feel are naturally funny, and whom you like already. This will help you with consuming this content. Your mental health is important, as is mine, and starting somewhere with your knowing is the first step to flowing so you can action this on repeat when you need and want to.

Comedy that you can clap for

Don’t like sitting on the couch watching hours and hours of sitcoms? Then head out for some stand-up comedy, that you can clap for. This is another way of allowing yourself.

Coaching you with poetry for people

I do not know about you, but I enjoy having a conversation that is memorable, simply because that person has got good energy, and their stories are funny. This is the same reason that I write (and read out, my) poetry for people, and created poems on pictures of which you can listen to and read, when you understand that taking care of your mental health is important so that learning is easier to achieve. It is a form of artistry, except with rhythm and rhyme, that is telling a story.
